So we can:

Do all things: Phil 4:13

Overcome the flesh:Rom 8:13; Gal 5:16

Overcome the world: Jn 16:33;

Do not have to be shaken when the world is shaken: Heb 12:26-28

We trust in a God who is sovereign over all nations: Ps 103:19

We serve Jesus who is Lord of all and victorious over all: Phil 2:9-11

We are empowered by the Holy Spirit of God who is greater than the evil one: 1 Jn 4:4

We are taught by the Spirit of God who is smarter than the wisdom of the world: Jn 14:26

KNOW AND PRACTICE THE TRUTH

Jesus said: "You will know them by their fruit". Or to say it another way, "You will know them by the works in their life, not by the words on their lips". Many will say to Him on that day, "Lord, Lord, did we not do this and that in Your name?" And He will say to them, "I never knew you, workers of iniquity. Cheap grace and easy believism has damned many into thinking that just tripping to the altar and repeating "The Sinner's Prayer" and returning unrepentant to the pew as repeat offenders of God, is no big deal. You are "Good to Go". After all, God is near sighted. He can't their sin only the righteousness of Christ on the saved. So I guess the apostle Paul was wrong in exhorting Christians to "put on the Lord Jesus Christ" (Rom 13:14). And Jesus, was having a bad day when the rebuked the Laodicean church saying it was naked and in need of being clothed with white garments so they would no longer be naked (Rev 3:16-18).

Truth has fallen in the streets and now they are filled with injustice and wickedness (Isaiah 59). "Pastors" of today's Laodicean churches not only release their children to their classes to play. They also release their adult children into the world to play and be devoured by the devil. Just as Jesus cleansed the Temple of the money changers, so today He needs to cleanse His "churches" of their changing tables. God said long ago concerning His people: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6); they go into exile for lack of knowledge" (Is 5:13). Their honorable men are famished and dying by dieting on pastoral pastries, fast food religion and doctrines of demons.   And those who claim to know God lovingly tolerate those preaching another Jesus.  They receive a different spirit and believe another gospel (2 Cor 11:4-5).  But the Bible says: "If anyone loves God, he is known by Him" (1 Cor 8:3).  "Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires" (Gal 5:25).   And being baptized into Christ death to sin, they are truly clothed with His righteousness (Gal 3:27; Rom 6:3,10; 1 Pet 4:1-2).

Multitudes are parched with thirst because the Holy Spirit of Truth, the fountain of living water, has been exchanged for broken cisterns which can hold no water (Jn 4:10,14, 7:38; Jer 2:13).  Deceived multitudes are reverting back to being led by the spirit of the world (1 Cor 12:1-2), rather than by the Spirit sent from above (Jn 14:26, 15:26; 16:7; Rom 8:14). They are falling away the faith (1 Tim 4:1) and from Him who is Truth, not remembering Jesus' last words and warning of the last sign before His return and the end of the age: "See to it that no one misleads you" (Mt 24:4)

Not so in 2020 with those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.  Those who trust in God will be established.  Those who trust in His prophets will succeed (2 Chron 20:20).  Pastors truly called by God will not shrink from declaring anything that is profitable and teaching God's Truth publically and house to house (Act 20:20). God will inhabit the praises of His people (Ps 22:3).  He will show off when His worshippers in Spirit and Truth show up (Jn 4:23-24).  He will richly reward those who diligently seek Him with great expectation (Heb 11:6).  He will be found by those who seek Him with all their heart (Jer 29:13).  God will strongly support those whose heart is completely His (2 Chron 16:9).  The Kingdom of God will be powerfully experienced (Rom 14:17; 1 Cor 4:20) by those who truly seek it (Mt 6:33).  The Gospel and Kingdom of God will be demonstrated in the Spirit and of power by those who boldly proclaim it (1 Cor 2:4; Acts 4:8,12-13; 8:5-13).  Then the lost will be saved calling on His name (Rom 10:13).  Religious false teachers and naysayers to holiness will be silenced in shame and stand with blame (1 Thess 3:13; Jam 3:1; Heb 13:17).
